Insurance

All shipments need to be insured. When your freight isn’t covered by a master policy and no coverage is available from the receiving buyer, we have the capability to insure the shipment. Even for single shipments with value exceeding $1-million, with advance notice we’ll find a way to spread the liability and ensure your valuable shipment is handled with care.

Letter of credit presentations

Whereas with a straight forward shipment there can be a lot of latitude with document preparation, letters of credit are very specific documents forming an integral part of the banking process and payment cycle. We’ll work with our clients to define and pre-advise a feasible approach. Next, we will present these documents to a bank on your behalf, negotiating to ensure compliance between bank requirements and client needs.
